The platform
Fractional CTO Experts provides executive discovery, profiles, job distribution, mandate support, search access, and consent-based introductions. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, we are not the employer, agent, professional adviser, or party to an engagement between a company and an executive.
Accounts and accurate information
You must provide accurate current information, protect account access, and use the service lawfully. We may request evidence, withhold publication, correct obvious errors, suspend access, or remove content that is false, unsafe, unlawful, misleading, infringing, or outside the platform’s purpose.
Profiles, jobs, and ranking
Executive applications are free. Payment cannot improve profile rank. Public profiles require review. Jobs require verified payment and editorial approval before publication, remain live for the purchased term, and do not renew automatically unless a later purchase is made explicitly.
Attributed third-party listings
The jobs index may include narrowly filtered listings from sources that expressly permit attributed feed or API distribution. These roles are labelled as imported, remain subject to the original source’s terms and accuracy, and use the source’s application destination. They are not represented as reviewed, paid, or posted directly by the employer on Fractional CTO Experts.
Payments
Prices and renewal terms are shown before checkout. Subscriptions continue for their stated interval until cancelled under the checkout or billing-portal terms. One-time job posts are not subscriptions. Taxes, refunds, disputes, and payment processing may also be governed by the payment provider and applicable law.
Hiring and professional decisions
Verification and matching reduce uncertainty but do not guarantee performance, availability, employment status, legal compliance, investment outcomes, or a successful engagement. Each party remains responsible for interviews, references, conflicts, professional advice, contracts, worker classification, tax, insurance, security, and lawful hiring decisions.
Content and intellectual property
You retain rights in content you submit and grant us the limited rights needed to review, store, display, and operate it. The platform, brand, original editorial material, software, and design remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
Liability and changes
The service is provided subject to applicable law and the limitations stated in any specific commercial agreement. We may improve these terms and will publish material updates with a new effective date. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted.
